What do you believe is the purpose of a college education? I believe the purpose of a college education is to further ones education in general at first, then narrowing their studies to a specific subject which will influence their job choices in the future. It is meant to teach somebody a lot of information about that specific subject for their future profession.

Being educated means that you have attended a school and have some sort of education. There are numerous levels of education that one could obtain. It stretches from a pre school education to a college education. Being educated is different than being intelligent because intelligence comes natural to somebody while somebody who is unintelligent can attend a school to gain an education. What experiences have you had with education that led you to this belief?
One experience that led me to believe this is taking a test in high school. Some students in the class could barely study and still get an A on the test while others that studied a lot only get a B. This is due to the people that didn't study being more intelligent than the others. They were both equally educated, however they still got different grades.
